In this article you will learn how to activate a Caseware Working Papers license for both a 'site license' and a 'network license'. The document containing the license key can be found under Files in Caseware Cloud.
Site license
The license key, or authorization code, is a series of 20 numbers and letters, such as: 7FAGA6CFDKH61B0UDD36. You can use this authorization code as often as the number of licenses purchased. If you have not yet activated your license, you will see the following screen on opening Working Papers:
Doorgaan zonder registreren (Continue Without Registering):
Continuing without registration will not activate your license. You can postpone this for up to five days. After those five days, all Working Papers files you open will be read-only.
Koop nu... (Buy now....):
If you do not yet have a license agreement with Caseware, the wizard will show contact information for our Caseware Sales department.
Registreer nu... (Register now...):
You will be given the option to register Working Papers with an authorization code or you can connect to the Caseware License Server.
Step 1:
Click Register Now... to start the registration wizard. Click next > and fill in the details.
Step 2:
Click next and complete the wizard with the default setting to register via Internet.
Working Papers has now been registered for this user.
If more licenses are registered than purchased, the following message will appear:
Please contact Caseware Support (if you're positive you have purchased enough licenses) or Sales (for a new license agreement) for a solution.
