The site license (authorization code) will be automatically adjusted on January 1, 2024. The document containing the license key can be found under Files in Caseware Cloud.
Caseware On Azure
Should I do something? No, Caseware will renew your Working Papers license.
Site License / Authorization Code (Local Installation)
Should I do something? No, your license key will be automatically renewed. A site license is referred to as an "authorization code - local installation" in the license document.
When Working Papers is installed to a local workstation for the first time, it is registered with a standalone license. In our system, that license code is linked to an authorization code that is valid for 2024. It is only for future new installations of Caseware Working Papers on a local PC that you will need to enter the code that can be found in the license letter.
For easy registration we refer you to the following article: Activating your Working Papers license.
Network License / Server Authorization Code
Should I do something? Yes, the license key for 2024 needs to be activated in the License Server. A Network License is referred to as a Server Authorization Code - License Server in the License letter.
Network licenses are typically used in large organizations where the software is managed through a centralized server. A Network License Server is installed on the centralized server which all licensed staff can access to retrieve licenses for Working Papers.
In the license letter 2024 you will be able to find the new key that must be entered in the Caseware Network License Server.
